I left a previous review about dogs not being welcome after previously visiting with my dog. This was a misunderstanding of the person who was running the cafe for the day and I have been back today and was made to feel very welcome. Small, well behaved dogs are very welcome. The food and coffee is great and the owner is lovely. We will be regular customers and I am happy to recommend.

Hubby & I stopped here for breakfast whilst down from Yorkshire on gallery deliveries in this area. What a great little place in a very pretty village :) Very welcoming, friendly service, and obviously well liked locally too which is great :) I had the mushroom omelette with cheese which was great, hubby had scrambled eggs on wholemeal toast Two generous cups of tea with a good sized jug of milk and we’re all set :) We had some good conversation with other patrons which is always nice so we really enjoyed the break :) Thank you very much, keep up the good work :)

Proper cafe. Son loved his full English. Nice looking menu of other things too; Eggs Benedict (though no ham), American pankcakes with syrup and bacon for breakfast, Moussaka for lunch ( and the usual array of sandwiches ). Guys running it kept calling me Boss too.
I enjoyed a nice coffee and a really good, large piece of millionaire shortbread. Didn't realise this cafe was here or I would have been sooner - I'll be back again.
A TAKEAWAY ham salad sandwich ingredients so fresh well wrapped just what was needed.staff on DUTY HAPPENED to be the BOSS such an INCREDIBLY NICE FRIENDLY polite MAN.the WHOLE place is spotless and very tastefully decorated. I dont think I could find better anywhere.
